Utah's Color Country
Utah's Color Country is where we get our name - outstanding scenery and interesting geology exist in Color Country. The “Awesome Scenery” link includes photos from a hike across Grand Canyon, Moki Dugway (dirt switchbacks drop 1,200' into the Valley of the Gods), Burr Trail, Horse Shoe Bend, the only bridges over Colorado River in 750 miles, photos of awesome geology, Little Colorado and Virgin River Gorges, Navajo Bridges, the spectacular (sometimes) Grand Falls, Google Earth 3D images, a link to photos of skyline drive across Utah mountain tops, and more.
Utah has more than 45 State Parks, we include photos of 3, a link to Utah Travel for more state parks, and videos of state and national sites. The links for National Parks & Monuments go to NPS sites. Banners provides selected photos from which our page banners were cut, and a couple of photos of St George. The last button is a study on the effects of the 10-year drought in the southwest with data and photos.
We use photos and satellite imagery to display this outstanding scenery and amazing geology. Enjoy! Photo Guide
