Scenic Color Country

Utah's Color Country is where we get our name, displaying the outstanding scenery and geology in Scenic Color Country and the surrounding area is our mission, sampled in the rotating banner photos.  A photo shoot from a 3-day hike in and out of the Grand Canyon, Utah's Scenic Byways, switchbacks dropping 1,200' into the Valley of the Gods, historic Burr Trail, beautiful Antelope Canyon, the amazing scenery and sometimes rugged geology of monoclines and reefs formed as the Rocky Mountains were created, historic Navajo Bridge, interesting canyons, and much more may be found in the hundreds of pages, that cannot be described in this limited space.

Featured articles include the only five bridges over Colorado River in 750 miles, 11-year Drought  is a study of the effects of the drought in this great southwestern desert with scenic photos and data, and a satire on the naming of Grand, Green, and Colorado Rivers, and Glen, Marble and Grand Canyons.

We use photos and satellite imagery to display this outstanding scenery and amazing geology in Color Country.  Enjoy!
